Photographic Adventures
Australia Safaris was initially launched as a hunting outfitters. Over the course of time we received so many enquiries asking could we provide a similar service for people interested in photography and in particular travelling to remote regions.These safaris still needed to provide the piece of mind of travelling with an experienced outback operator where the customers safety is paramount but also required the same base camp accommodation and meals as we provide for the hunting safaris or alternative accommodation with shower and toilet facilities.
Because of the remoteness of these safaris it is a seven day event that takes in other points of interest on the way.This Would include.
  • C Y O'Connor pipeline from Mundaring to Kalgoorlie
  • Mundaring Dam
  • Coolgardie where they first struck gold
  • Kalgoorlie and its famous super pit
  • Leanora
  • Laverton this is the last town before we go remote
Once we arrive on station country the base camp will be set up and we will enjoy our first outback dinner cooked in traditional methods using camp ovens. Alternative accommodation can be arranged with shower and toilet facilities.Water in these regions is obviously to be used sparingly but shower facilities are provided but toilet duties are performed with the aid of a shovel downwind of the camp as there is no where to empty chemical toilets.After Breakfast we will take daily excursions out to different areas where lunch will be prepared and eaten under a shady tree.We provide three meals a day and soft drinks, should you wish to bring wine and beer please only cask wine and canned drinks are allowed due to glass being not very practical in the bush.
Australia Safaris operate photographic adventures along the coast and to some not so remote areas inland.
